SimVendor Hosting

FAQ

Common questions, straight answers.

What is SimVendor Hosting?

A game server hosting platform built specifically for sim racing and trucking communities. We're a sister product of SimVendor — sign in with the same Steam account and your owned mods are one click away from your server.

Which games are supported at launch?

Assetto Corsa, Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator, BeamNG (BeamMP), Automobilista 2, Wreckfest 2, rFactor 2, and RaceRoom Racing Experience. Assetto Corsa Rally is coming soon — join the waitlist for free preview slots.

Can I install my own mods?

Yes. Every server includes full SFTP, an in-panel file manager, and a one-click "Install from my SimVendor library" button for owned mods. We don't restrict mods, gate uploads behind tickets, or charge for "premium" mod slots.

How does the SimVendor integration work?

You sign in to SimVendor Hosting with Steam OpenID — the same account you use on simvendor.com. We use your Steam ID to look up which mods you own on SimVendor, and let you install them directly into your AC, ETS2, BeamMP or rFactor 2 server. SimVendor Hosting has its own database; nothing is shared except your Steam ID for ownership lookups.

How fast is deploy?

Under 60 seconds from "checkout complete" to "server online" for most games. BeamMP and rFactor 2 take slightly longer on first boot due to content downloads.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contracts, no minimums. If you cancel mid-cycle we run the server through the end of your paid period and snapshot your data so you can come back later.

What's the refund policy?

Full refund within 24 hours of first payment if the server isn't working for you. After that, we prorate refunds for service-affecting downtime per our SLA.

Do you offer DDoS protection?

Yes. Always-on L3/L4 mitigation on every node, included in every plan. No upcharges, no "premium DDoS" tier.

Can I migrate between regions?

Yes — one free migration per service per month. Just open a ticket; we'll snapshot, transfer, and re-attach.

Who runs SimVendor Hosting?

The same team behind SimVendor (simvendor.com). We're sim racers and truckers ourselves, so support is staffed by people who actually know what an ACSM file is.
